What is this frame rate issue that people are experiencing and how does it happen? Maybe I try to get it to happen with my copy :p. How does that happen? I have no problems with mine and my notebook is pretty underpowered in this day and age  ! I'm using about Medium High settings with a resolution of 800 x 600. I actually liked ProStreet, found it a refreshing break from cops and traffic! still, what made NFS was cops and traffic so time to get back in the thick of things!

The last NFS I bought on PC was Most Wanted (recently reinstalled it, good fun but is proving difficult to get to run well.) the later two were on 360. Thanks for your input :) Well I might pick it up on PC then (it's cheaper too anyway) since your able to run it on your Go 7400, my laptop should be able to run it fine too (GeForce 9500M GS and not to mention a GTX 260 in the desktop :p) at least with the PC version I can tweak it to run better. That said, I've quite actually enjoyed the game and I don't regret buying it at all. Another thing is that when you're racing and a car lines up beside you, he can sometimes pull a PITT manoeuvre yet you can't seem to be able to it to others. Also, the camera in the garage is the worse kind of camera when it can't even do a 360 when you're trying to customise some parts. This poses a problem later in the game when cash is tight and you're trying to go for the Bugatti Veryon which cost $300,000.

Some of the problems are when you take out the main bosses, the races that you haven't done all disappear and there doesn't seem to be any way to bring it back. Police road blocks are quite easy to evade now you can make a J-Turn. The HDE looks a bit pointless in theory but in some of the races it's actually quite practical. The car selection is what's really satisfying though and like Beastage said, stealing those cars are quite fun :p. The only part where it gets hard is when you're trying to achieve Total Domination in all the events, which I'm trying to do right now with little success :laugh. Regarding the game's difficulty, there are a few times when you have to restart as you run out of time or you lose in the Highway Battle. Storywise it's a bit hollow but it's not as bad as Carbon. Haven't really notice any frame rate issues to be honest, and I'm running on my notebook which only has a GeForce Go 7400.

To the OP, all my career cars were pinkslips, you can upgrade the car to win more none story races but honestly it just has no effect on the game, game is capped at wheelman 18.

I've finished it, and aside from 6 exciting steal some car, evade the police missions it is pretty bad game and the bad performance of it on PC is just pathetic, no patch yet (what a surprise).

Also what platform you got it on? from the review I was reading the PS3 version seems to be the worst one. the been too easy part, well I don't mind that, rather a game be too easy then too hard.at least I can finish it - nothing more annoying then a game you can't finish!). Sorry to barge in like this :p but what is the frame rate like on Undercover? I'm a little torn up about Undercover at the moment, as a big NFS fan I'm tempted to buy it but because of the bad reviews and the frame rate issues I've avoided it like the plague :p However, after reading some of the reviews on the game, I actually don't completely agree with alot of the bad points alot of them made (i.e.
